We went to Lockheed Martin to get our aviation merit badge and got to see how the F35, F16, and F22s are made. we learned about planes and a little on how to fly them. We also built an FPG (foam plate glider)9 and tested it. it was lots of fun.

Next campout-wilderness survival
The staffs program for this next month is wilderness survival. Its all in good time, too, for our next campout is based on what they are teaching us. we will have new patrol leaders, and tis will present a true test to their skill as a leader and a scout. it will test there memory ad their patience. we will see how this turns out.
Troop 179 Court of honor
The court of honor is coming up. it is monday, Aug 29. We will see how everyone has progressed in their journey as a scout and see how productive they were. we will alaso see the new leaders inducted into their office.
Troop elections
we are having troop elections monday, august 22. Chris has replaced Connor as senior patrol leader. Adam has replaced Victor as patrol leader for flying eagles, Jaden is now PL of the flaming arrows, and Louis has taken Aarons spot as PL of wolverines. only time will tell how these decisions work.
Triporee:replaced
The August triporee was cancelled and replaced with a requirements meeting. we were very busy, and got a lot done. we got two rank advancements and quite a few requirements signed off. this was topped off with hot dogs served by the adults and a trip to the IMAX to see tornado alley.

Summer Camp
Seemed like lots of fun,. Though I myself didn't go, I heard it was lots of un, though I've heard that the camp needed more bathrooms and showers.
